The city is located between the Departments of Bas-Rhin and Haut-Rhin, and between the Vosges Mountains and the Ried.  Selestat is a city of arts and traditions and you will be charmed by its authentic nature and its friendly atmosphere.

A place to discover on your own, as a couple or as a family, by strolling through the lovely streets leading, for instance, to the Monuments district with the famous "Bibliothèque Humaniste" (Humanist Library), along the banks of the Ill river where ancient Alsatian houses are side by side with more contemporary buildings.
